This walk is probably one of the most beautiful in Madeira, allowing the hiker to enjoy the natural heritage of the island due to the trail being full of endemic species of the islands fauna and flora. The lushfull vegetation fills the view, envolving the hiker in a peaceful environment.

It is maybe one of the most known levadas. Walking on this path, enjoy the contrast between light and shade appearing through the laurels and heathers that will keep you company on the way.
