Sunset Boat Tour of the Ria Formosa
The sunset tour of the Ria Formosa in Faro was a quick experience that showed the different aspects of the area. We were picked up in a boat at the end of the Marina and were taken out on time. Luckily, it was just 4 of us as usually there are more people. Our tour guide was fantastic as he had the right mixture of talking about the various sites within the Ria Formosa, plus allowing silence as we watched the water and land before stopping in an area to watch the sunset. The sunset was spectacular, and there was only one other boat in the area where we were. Our tour was from 7pm-8pm in September. It was nice weather, and we were in shorts and tshirts. Definitely recommend.

Very knowledgeable experience, our guide took us through ria formasa telling us all about land we even tried an edible vegetable and experienced knowledge on what was grown on the land and a beautiful sunset to finish off
Relaxing sunset tour with beautiful views
We had a pleasant evening on this sunset tour. The sunset was beautiful, and the guide gave us a very good introduction to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, including the local environment and nature in the area. The tour is quite relaxed and slow-paced, so it may not be the most exciting activity if you are looking for something more action-packed, but that is really just the nature of this type of tour rather than a criticism. Everything was well organised, the scenery was lovely, and overall there was very little to fault. A nice and peaceful way to spend an evening in Faro.

Great boat operator and very informative on the local wildlife and learned about the tides in the area

Very nice tour, João was very friendly and informative, and switched between different languages so everyone could understand. My friend and I did this on a whim and we were so glad we did it!
