Sara made me fall in love with Iceland
They were so helpful and understanding when we asked to reschedule our tour at the last minute due to gastrointestinal issues upon arrival. Luckily, we recovered well enough to join the tour the next morning. Sara was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. I learned so much about Icelandic history, culture, and values from her! I immediately started texting my daughter that she should consider moving to Iceland given how well their values align with our personal ones. I felt bad that we had to break away from the group before our last stop to find a restroom. I would highly recommend this tour if you get a chance to go, especially if Sara is your guide!
Nice way to learn Downtown.
Thor was very good-nice way to see downtown on first morning after long flight. From starting point all downhill nice for older participants. Ended at Parliament Hotel.

This tour was perfect! Our guide was absolutely the best. Funny and personable and such a good tour guide.
Fun walk with Thor
Cost was about $55.00 per person for a two hour tour. We met at the statue in front of Hallgrimskirkja church and walked through Reykjavik, ending up at city hall (all of the tour was downhill or flat). There was one bathroom break at the concert hall about halfway through. Total distance seems to be about 1 mile at an easy pace. The walk is all outside so be prepared for weather (the bathroom break gives a short break from the weather). Our guide was Thor, a native Icelander, who was very engaging and knowledgeable of not only the city but also Icelandic/Viking lore. The walking tour was very interesting, our only regret is that we did the tour on our last day in Iceland, but should have done it sooner as we learned of several good places to eat which are down by the city hall/concert hall vs being closer to the church where it seems most of the shops/restaurants are. Was the tour worth the cost? Yes. Would we do it again? Yes. Did we enjoy our guide (Their)? Yes.
