Waterfall and Hot Springs Mud Bath Tour in Rincon de la Vieja

Your tour begins with pickup from your Playa Hermosa hotel at 8:30am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for Rincon de la Vieja National Park.

Following a 1.5-hour drive, you’ll arrive at the Blue River Resort and Hot Springs, where you’ll receive a welcome cocktail. Embark on a guided hike through forested rails and stop to swim in the mineral pools of Rio Pénjamo, famed for its vivid blue color.   

After lunch back at the resort, you’ll have the option of enjoying a selection of activities. Choose from swimming in mint-green hot springs, soaring down a bullet slide into a natural pool, or visiting the butterfly garden and botanical garden, home to 700 different types of flora.

Reconvene with your driver after your free time and relax during the 1.5-hour drive back to Playa Hermosa.

A moderate amount of walking is involved (along paths created in forest and down dirt stairs)
The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions. Pick-up time and location will be communicated once we know where you are staying.
