Start your day with early-morning pickup at any address in Vancouver city, and then transfer to the waterfront to board your whale-watching boat.
Cruise out into the waters between Vancouver and Victoria, home to a wide array of wildlife. Find a seat on the 62-foot (19-meter) aluminum express cruiser; choose between outdoor or indoor heated passenger areas. There are restrooms and a small snack bar on board.
Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife such sea lions, seals, porpoises, gray whales, and orcas. Your guide is a trained naturalist, who will fill you in on the unique ecosystem surrounding you.
Arrive in Victoria to spend some free time exploring the city, and then take a 35-minute bus ride to Butchart Gardens. Once an abandoned quarry, this green space is now one of the premier floral show gardens worldwide.
Get picked up from the gardens and transfer back to the shoreline for express return to Vancouver via speedboat, which takes just two hours. Once back in the city, you'll be dropped off back at your Vancouver lodgings.
