After pickup in central Sarajevo, set off for the War Tunnel Museum by air-conditioned minivan. Along the way, your guide talks about the Bosnian War and points out significant sites.
At the museum, watch a short educational film and presentation about the fall of Yugoslavia, the Yugoslav Wars, and creation of the War Tunnel.
Next, head toward Trebevic, the closest mountain to the center of Sarajevo and the site of the first line during the siege of the city during the Bosnian War. Visit the bobsled and luge track from the 1984 Olympics, once the sites of the main positions of the sieging army.
At one of the largest cemeteries in Europe, see tombstones distinctive to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then visit the Yellow fortress in the old Ottoman section of the city.
Enjoy views of the old city before returning to your original point of departure.
