As the cultural root of Shanghai, Songjiang preserves brilliant and unique prehistoric, ancient and modern cultural significant features. You will visit the Guangfulin, an archaeological site over 5,000 years old but was constructed started from 2009. The Archaeology Site Museum, partially underwater, covers more than 9,000 square meters while 20 demonstration pavilions in the park presenting the ancient local life and the culture, the part above water symbolizes the discovery about the region. Then you will stop at the newly opened Shimao Wonderland, a stunning structure of the Intercontinental hotel built on the site of an abandoned quarry. Lunch in the local residential area followed by a walk in the Songjiang University Town, the largest higher education sector in mainland China. Before trip back to Shanghai city, visit Fangta Park, one of the first celebrations of traditional Chinese architecture after the Cultural Revolution including the city's Square Pagoda and Mazu Temple.
