After being picked up at your Hobart hotel, travel to Mount Field National Park, located about 90 minutes away from the city. There, explore Tasmania’s oldest national park, including Russell Falls, a three-tiered cascading waterfall, and the Tall Trees Track, which boasts giant swamp gum trees that are over 262 feet (80 meters) tall.
From there, walk the Pandani Grove Trail along Lake Dobson, which is often covered in ice and surrounded by snow in the winter. The tour also includes a stop at Bonorong Wildlife Park, home to rescued Australian wildlife. Here, interact with kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, wallabies, and more.
Finally, head to the summit of Mount Wellington with an elevation of 4,170 feet (1271 meters) and take in the expansive views of the region. At the end of the tour, head back to Hobart and get dropped off at your hotel.
