BELAZ factory is the second world's largest dump truck producer. BELAZ factory is located 60 km from Minsk and occupies the territory of 260 football fields (1, 7 km²). It looks like a separate town with 10. 000 inhabitants, its own roads, buses, restaurants and even the railway.
The factory tour starts from the museum where you will learn 60 years history of the plant. After visiting the museum, you will have the great chance to get behind the scene and see the assembly of big trucks. In the exposition area you will be able to take photos and climb real giant trucks, including the largest truck in the world with 450-tonne capacity. At the end you will attend the souvenirs shop and the factory canteen to have a tea-break.
In addition, you will have a chance to experience BELAZ driving on simulator or even to ride a 130-tonne dump truck with a professional driver, both activities are available at extra price.
