Meet your guide at 10am in central Supetar, then transfer on to the village of Škrip — widely considered among the most historically significant areas of Brač Island — to begin your 5-hour tour.
On arrival, explore the fortifications and sarcophagi for which Škrip is famous, and gain insight into centuries of Dalmatian history. Afterward, visit an olive oil mill and sample locally made olive oils alongside black and green olive pâté, cheese, ham, jams, salted anchovies, wine, and other seasonal products.
Head onward to another ancient settlement — Donji Humac — and discover evidence of prehistoric activity in the Kopačina Cave. Along the way, admire sweeping views over the inland landscape and listen as your guide explains the region’s international reputation as a center for stonemasonry.
Visit a stonemason’s gallery and workshop and admire the many fine artworks you find. Then, visit a local restaurant for a delicious 3-course lunch of Brač specialities such as lamb dishes with home-grown potatoes roasted under charcoal with seasonal salads.
When your meal comes to an end, transfer back to your departure point in Supetar to conclude your 5-hour tour.
