Your morning begins with pickup from your central Prague hotel by private vehicle. Depart for the wild mountains of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, and jump out to take in one of its most memorable natural wonders – the jagged rock formations of Bastei. Hear how they were formed over millions of years of water erosion as you marvel at the 636-foot (194-meter) high rocks, and enjoy spectacular views over the Bastei Bridge.
Continue through the Saxon Switzerland National Park, stopping at the German spa town of Bad Schadau and the picturesque Czech village of Hřensko. Then, drive through a dramatic panorama of mountains, forests and canyons as you cross back into the Czech Republic and venture into the heart of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
Make a beeline for the park’s star attraction, the Pravcicka gate, a striking natural arch carved into the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Embark on a 3-mile (5km) hike to the arch, stopping at viewpoints along the way to take photos and marvel at the panoramic views. On arrival, enjoy free time to explore or relax at the Sokoli hnízdo restaurant, overlooking the valley.
In the late afternoon, set out on the return journey to Prague, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
