Reef-It Snorkel Park Guided Eco-Snorkeling Tour

Guests will first receive an educational briefing on our conservational efforts to rejuvenate the coral reefs of St. Maarten and safety instructions on how to properly use the snorkel gear before they enter the water. This is not a boat excursion, guests enter the water right from our dock, entering and exiting the water via our industrial ladder.

Once they are in, they will be taken on a 45 minute guided tour throughout the park, stopping along the way to see the reef balls that have been set up and the coral that is steadily growing on them. They will also get to see the abundance of reef life that inhabits the area.

Once the tour is over there are refreshments for sale and free Wi-Fi.

If you’re looking for an eco – educational and fun-filled snorkel adventure, this is the perfect tour! The complete excursion will take approximately 90 minutes.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will welcome you to our walk-in Snorkel Park on Sint Maarten. An informative presentation about Reef-It’s coral reef nursery and safety instructions will prepare you for the snorkel tour. You will also receive a fish identification card so that you can spot the many different types of fish that live in the Reef-It snorkel park.

Our guide will show you the reef-balls that have been placed along the way, making occasional stops to tell you more about the fish, coral nursery and point out the different underwater sights and signs, especially the schools of tropical fish that have made Reef-It’s snorkel park their home.

After the snorkel tour refreshing cold drinks are on sale and will top off a very well spent 45 minutes in the water of our beautiful Friendly Island.
