Quilotoa Lake Private Sightseeing Tour

Summary

Your tour begins with pickup from your Quito hotel at 8:30am, when you’ll board a private vehicle destined for Quilotoa Lake, which was formed from the collapse of Ecuador’s westernmost volcano. Midway through the 3-hour journey, you’ll stop at a traditional fruit and vegetable market before arriving at your first viewpoint, from which panoramic views of the turquoise lake and surrounding crater are revealed. Hike downhill to get closer to the vibrant color of the lake and then opt to either rent a mule or hike back to the summit. Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off in Quito.
