Description

Visit Westminster Abbey during this private tour. Its construction dates back to 1045 when the then King Eduardo the Confessor ordered its construction. What we can see today dates from between 1245 to 1517 when its original Romanesque style was replaced by Gothic, after the renovation ordered by Enrique III. We will begin our visit at our meeting point, the entrance to Westminster Abbey. Our guide will take us through the corners of this famous building, a traditional place for the coronations and burials of the English monarchs and, later, the British monarchs.
Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all English monarchs have been crowned at the Abbey, with the exception of Joanna I and Edward V. We will see the numerous graves of various members of the royal family, aristocrats, and distinguished figures such as scientists and poets, among them we can find the graves of Charles Dickens, Geoffrey Chaucer or Rudyard Kipling.
In recent years, the Abbey has been the scene of Princess Diana’s funeral and the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Definitely, an experience you cannot miss!

Depart from Rome and head out into the rolling Tuscan countryside on your full-day sightseeing adventure. During the journey, learn about this stunning region and its impressive history, which was of great importance to the creation of the Italian language.

Arrive in Pisa and visit the UNESCO-listed Piazza Dei Miracoli, where the Pisan Romanesque-style cathedral is located. In the same square, find the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa and stop to take some photos for your vacation album. Spend some free time exploring the city, then hop back on board the bus and continue the tour to Florence.

Florence is a stunning city that burst with Renaissance architecture, history, art, philosophy, and science in every corner. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city and visit all the most important landmarks, including the Piazza del Duomo, Mercato Nuovo, Vecchio Bridge, and more.

Enjoy free time to explore on your own. Don’t forget to stop at a local café to sample some delicious Tuscan delicacies and desserts before hopping back on the bus, where you can soak up stunning countryside views on the return to Rome
