Expo 98 and Modern Avenues Tour
Visit the modern Expo 98 area of the city, built to host the 1998 World Expo and later transformed into one of the largest leisure and residential areas of the city. Explore the gardens, see the modern architecture or even ride on a cable car. See the Vasco da Gama Bridge which was, at the time of construction, the longest European bridge at 10 miles (17km) long.
