Private Vietnamese Cooking Class and Authentic Meal in a Local's Kitchen

Your wonderful host Tam learned to cook mostly on her own, but also picked up a few key cooking skills from her mother at a very young age. She later studied baking at Sofitel and owned a bakery, giving her professional experience in the kitchen. Tam feels truly relaxed in the kitchen and finds herself most happy when she is cooking. Tam currently runs her own online catering business and loves that she gets to cook every single day!

Possible dishes you might get to try are fresh or deep fried spring rolls, crab and asparagus soup, pumpkin soup, pho, lotus salad with shrimps and magic jelly with ginger syrup!

Experience true Vietnamese culture and cuisine as you join your host Tam in her kitchen and learn to cook Vietnamese dishes from scratch in a hands-on cooking class. Tam will first introduce you to a variety of local and seasonal ingredients used in Vietnamese cuisine and then show you have to create simple, healthy and delightful dishes with these traditional ingredients. After about an hour of cooking, you will help Tam plate the dishes you prepared and then sit down to enjoy your meal together.

This is the perfect opportunity to explore the country’s cuisine beyond the typical restaurant offerings and learn about its culture from a local!
