Private Tour: Venice 'Bacari' Food Tour

Eat and sip your way around the ‘bacari’ of Venice on a 2-hour evening tour. With your own private guide, you’ll check out four of the city’s traditional wine bars for tasty, bite-size appetizers, wine, and the classic Venetian aperitif of a spritz.  Visiting a total of two wine bars, your tour includes traditional cicheti and a drink of wine or spritz in each location. The city’s signature snacks, cicheti are small plates of local, seasonal food — typically served in bite-size portions — that are made to be eaten with a drink in hand. Follow the lead of the locals to nibble your appetizers in between sips of your drink, as you work your way around the bacari. Through the tour, chat with your guide about Venice to learn about its food traditions and culture. You’ll hear insider tips to find the best pastries and candy in town, ensuring you’ll always be able to find quality food. Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.
