Summary

Board your air-conditioned van outside your accomodation or cruise port and meet your driver to begin your day trip along the Amalfi Coast. Settle into your seat and gaze out the windows at the sparkling sea or terraced gardens and pastel-colored buildings, depending on which way you look. Your first stop is Positano, a tiered village built onto the side of the cliffs. Spend a few minutes capturing the famous views with your camera - or simply your memory - before hopping back on the coach for the next leg of the journey - the town of Amalfi. Explore Amalfi at your own pace, visiting the iconic multi-colored 9th-century cathedral or browsing the rows of shops along the town’s side-streets. You can even arrange to take a boat tour to the nearby little villages of Conca dei Marini, Maiori and Minor (own expense). After visiting Amalfi, board the bus once again to climb up to hilltop Ravello, your final stop. This little town is famous for two villas that both have large gardens and breathtaking views of the sea - Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone - and you’ll have free time in Ravello to see them for yourself. Soak in more of the Amalfi Coast’s famous views in the van ride back to where it where it began.

Why take this tour?

just to give you an idea i'll list you some details of one type of tour. I do usually suggest to my clients to start the tour quite early. . . by 8am, it'll be the best way to avoid the rush hours traffic in Naples. In approx. 1 hour we'll reach Sorrento, where obviously you'll have the chance of visiting the ancient centre town. After Sorrento, we'll time to go finally along the breathtaking Amalfi coast. . . several stops on the way , if you desire, for taking amazing pictures and even there time to visit the centre town (where big buses will not be allowed to go to) and time for lunch too, of course. After the visit of the coast will be then time to reach the Ancient Pompei, since the archeological area is massive i'd suggest to stop for approx. 2 hours. . . overthere, if you desire I could arrange avery good professional local tour guide for a Private Tour into the ruins, otherwise you could explore by yourself too. After Pompei you'll be driven to the Cruise

During the route I will make you visit the most beautiful places in the area, thanks to my English very fluid I will tell you the history of what you see. The pick up from the cruise ship is between 8 to 9 am as you requested and the return to the ship is after 8 or 9 hours tour depends on what time the ship departs from the harbor.I can provide tours for small and big groups.
