Or consider the optional funicular ride to the lighthouses. The return journey takes you to Scarborough with mind-blowing waves at Misty Cliffs, a haven for kite surfers. The drive back to the hotel is via the University of Cape Town and Grootte Schuur hospital. The latter known is as the hospital where the first heart transplant was done in 1967 by Christiaan Barnard.

This 8 hour private tour for couples,friends or small groups traveling together is on Africa`s premier tour route along the beautiful Atlantic Coastline. Social distance is our main priority. As far as possible crowds will be avoided. The tour starts in the colorful Bo-Kaap We also do the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive stopping at Hout Bay Harbor to take a boat to "Seal Island" - time permitting. The tour includes a visit to Boulders Beach,the breeding place of the African Penguins.Panoramic drive follows via Boy's Drive or Old Cape Road. Taking the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the lighthouse at Cape Point where the origin of Wagner's story will unfold is an option. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and "Canopy walk" is a highlight. After spending about an hour there,the panoramic drive continues along the affluent residential area of Bishop's Court and the Campus of the University of Cape Town for drop off at around 17h00/17h30.
