The Parnassos Ski Resort has been operating continuously since 1976 at an altitude of 1,640 to 2,260 meters. It is the largest ski resort in the country with 23 tracks (some of which are certified by the International F.I.S. Ski Federation) for a total length of 34 kilometers for all skill levels and all levels of difficulty.
Parnassus Ski Resort offers a variety of options whether you want to enjoy your favorite winter sport or a mountain ride with new riders overlooking the sea, or enjoy the beauty of the landscape with a hot drink or chalet meal.
Near Parnasus ski center is located the city Arachova.It has a panoramic view, uphill small houses and the cobbled streets that show a picturesque architecture. The town center includes a huge and steep cliff, the Bell Tower, covered with dense ivy. At the top of the tower is a large 10m height clock. Arachova is famous for its black wine, the formaela cheese, its "brusque", the colorful textiles, carpets and rugs, handicrafts and woodcut creations as well. The stay there will be for two (2) hours so you can enjoy your lunch.
