On this three hour, laid back walking tour, you'll discover some of the iconic landmarks of Surry Hills, learn of immigration waves following the gold rush and Second World War, and sample some of the sweet flavors brought to the region all those years ago.
You'll wander by popular terrace-style housing on tree-lined side streets, enjoy colorful dishes which boast influences from Vietnamese, Thai, and Greek cuisines, and meet a charismatic butcher who has been carving since he was 11. You'll taste creamy ginger brulee, and finish with a refreshing ginger twist in a quaint local venue. And of course like all our tours, there is our Secret Dish, which you can only find out about on the tour.
