Private Tour: San Sebastian del Oeste Day Trip

Your day trip begins with pickup from your Puerta Vallarta in the morning. Following a scenic drive, during which your guide presents an overview of San Sebastian del Oeste, you’ll arrive in the 17th-century mountain town.

An elevation of 4,800 feet (1,463 meters) means spectacular views can be enjoyed from the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delve into the town’s history at the Museum of Doña Conchita and soak up the laid-back ambiance during a stroll around the main plaza and historic center. Explore a local coffee plantation, discover the entire production process, and sample locally grown coffee before lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). 

See, too, the historic Hacienda Jalisco, formerly frequented by Hollywood stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Following a tour of the hacienda and its museum, you’ll conclude the tour with hotel drop-off.

Nominated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, the former mining town of San Sebastian del Oeste is now a quiet mountain village located about 1.5 hours from Puerto Vallarta. With a personal guide you'll visit a coffee plantation, main plaza, and other highlights of the colonial town, with a stop for lunch (own expense).
