Before you reach Budva you will also stop along the coast to view legendary playground of the celebs - Sveti Stefan. This tiny island fortress of Sveti Stefan is Montenegro's most famous attraction which was transformed in the 1950’s into a fabled private resort for stars like Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren and European royalty. Today, joined by a narrow causeway to the main road, its 5-star hotels can be enjoyed by ordinary mortals. Lunch is optional at a local restaurant in Budva.
