As a genealogist, I will take you to the seat of the O Sullivan clan and to the copper mines museum in Allies from where many Irish emigrated to Bute, Montana.

O’Sullivan Clan Tour of the Beara Peninsula

Calling all Sullivans! This tour is for you. Mary is a tremendous guide. She picked us up promptly at 9am from our accommodation in Killarney. The car was very comfortable. She mentioned she had a van for larger groups. We toured the Beara Peninsula. It was so nice to sit back and hear the history and stories and not have to worry about driving on the narrow roads. Stopping at the remains of Dunboy Castle, home of the O’Sullivan clan was sobering. We stopped for a nice lunch and at plenty of lovely sites along the way. We were dropped off back at our accommodation at 5pm. The time flew by. Mary knows her history of the area and communicates it well. I highly recommend!
