Around 6 pm, meet your guide at the lobby of your Dunhuang hotel, and you will be transferred to the local market first. At 8 pm, and you will be transferred to the Dunhuang Grand Theater, that is a Chinese traditional building with the best facilities. The Silk Road is an awesome spectacle perfect for kids and adults alike. It starts at 8:30pm every day at the Dunhuang Grand Theater, and last for around 90 minutes. The Silk Road tells an impressive story that virtuous and rustic father and daughter who come from China help a Persian merchant on the Silk Road. During the journey, they experience parting and reunion of family members, the help from friends who sacrifice their own life and the sharing of weal and woe…… It is an ode to friendship between china and the foreign country, promoting the traditional friendship of “friendly trade, mutual benefit and integration” on the Silk Road.
