Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your central Barcelona hotel by private vehicle. Soak up the scenery on the drive north to Palamos, the starting point for your hike, and enjoy your first glimpse of Spain’s famous Costa Brava as you drive along the spectacular coastal roads.
From Palamos, embark on a thrilling hike to Calella de Palagrugell, following part of the historic Cami de Ronda hiking route. Accompanied by your guide, hike a scenic route along the coast, passing dramatic headlands, shady pine forest trails, pristine sandy beaches, and rugged caves.
Hiking at a pace to suit your group, you’ll enjoy plenty of stops to admire the views, gazing out over the glittering Mediterranean. Along the way, walk along the beaches of El Castell and La Fosca; visit a Romanesque castle; stop at the Barraca d'en Dali, a cabin once used by Salvador Dali; and get a taste of local life as you pass through traditional fishing villages.
After hiking, arrive in the pretty coastal town of Calella de Palagrugell, where you’ll have chance to explore, before setting out on the return trip to Barcelona.
