After being picked up at your hotel in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, head to the ancient Mayan city of Coba to explore the ruins among the jungle, along with the largest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan region, the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, which is 140 feet (42 meters) high. Along the way, learn about Mayan culture and history, including the significance of Coba as a major urban center on the Yucatan Peninsula, its monumental buildings, and hieroglyphic texts.
After Coba, dine on a buffet lunch of typical Mayan dishes. Following that, head to Tulum, which is believed to have been the main port of the Mayan Empire and boasts views of the Caribbean Sea. At the end of the private tour, get dropped off at your hotel.
