A Tokyo native, Emi is very passionate about cooking Japanese cuisine and enjoys meeting travelers. Emi will greet you in her home kitchen with a welcome drink of barley tea. Emi will give you an introduction to the history and culture of Japanese cuisine and sushi. Then, during your sushi class, learn to make a Japanese meal of three different types of sushi, miso soup and tamagoyaki, Japanese omelette. Your sushi making class will last about 1.5 hours. Join Emi and learn to make nigiri, temari and gunkanmaki with fresh seafood and vegetables. Your class will conclude with a steaming cup of green tea. Enjoy this memorable sushi making culinary experience with an expert local cook.
