The Húsafell area sits at the edge of the West Iceland highlands — lava fields, river valleys, and the glacial terrain that leads to Langjökull. On this version of the Silver Circle, guests explore it by quad bike.After the full base route — Deildartunguhver, Reykholt, Hraunfossar, and the village of Húsafell — the group picks up ATVs and rides through the lava field and highland track system above the village. About 1.5 hours of actual riding, with open views toward Langjökull glacier and the surrounding highland plateau.
Full safety briefing and all protective gear provided on-site. No prior experience required. A valid driving license is required to operate an ATV independently; passengers can ride without one. Returns to Reykjavik approximately 18:00. A good option for guests who want an active outdoor adventure without going onto the glacier.
