How many guests can seated in the Jeep?

Each Jeep seats up to 6 guests total, plus the driver/guide. The vehicles are intentionally small and open-air, so for comfort, 4 adults per Jeep is recommended, with up to 2 children or teens in the smaller third-row seating.

Children under age 3 are not recommended on any tour. Rear-facing child seats cannot be accommodated, and no children may sit on laps. Guests must bring or request any required car seats for young children.

The third row is best suited for older children (approximately age 5 and up) and teens. This row experiences more wind, making it less ideal for younger children.

Can the route be customized? Can We get out and take photos ?

Yes—and yes. These are fully private tours, so the route and pace are tailored to each group’s preferences. Guests can share what they’d like to see, and the guide will design the itinerary to fit the time reserved—whether that means covering as much ground as possible or taking a slower, more relaxed approach.

All tours include multiple opportunities to get out of the Jeep, walk around viewpoints, and take plenty of photos at scenic stops throughout the city.

Yes. Guests may meet at the standard Fisherman’s Wharf departure location or request hotel pickup and drop-off in select areas of San Francisco for an additional fee.

Standard Meeting Location
Tours depart from 2870 Hyde Street, San Francisco, CA 94109, at the corner of Hyde and Jefferson Streets in Fisherman’s Wharf. Pickup occurs on the Hyde Street side of the Argonaut Hotel, in the white passenger loading zone. Guests should not wait at the Jefferson Street hotel entrance and are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they are at the correct location.
