Giving visitors a chance to see Wiltshire’s best kept secret from the comfort of a Luxury off-road vehicle. Groups of up to six guests are able to visit Salisbury Plain and the surrounding areas, taking small highways and off road tracks that are inaccessible to the usual tour buses and taxis. As a licenced private hire company we are able to pick up and drop off guests at a given location, for example your Guesthouse or Salisbury City Centre. From here our enthusiastic explorers are whisked off for a fun filled tour of Europe’s largest chalk grassland. Our tours will include visits to sites of archaeological interest such as the 4000 yr. old hill fort Casterly Camp, as well as trips to see the extensive military encampments in the area and on selected days, trips across the firing ranges to see the shattered hulks of tanks used for target practice. Add in the chance to see rare wildlife such as Great Bustards or Stone Curlews and spectacular views and you have a fascinating experience that will be one of the highlights of your trip. Typically we offer tours in either a 2 or 4 hour format for up to 6 guests and all tours include refreshments (An English picnic on the longer tours).
