From there we head south towards the Reykjanes Peninsula which is renowned for unearthly landscapes and interesting exhibits. Journey on to Krysuvik and Seltun geothermal area known for it's alien landscape with boiling mud pots and hot springs. Stop by the Viking museum VIkingaheimar, home to a replica of a Viking ship called the Gokstad ship which was excavated in near perfect condition from an ancient burial mound in Norway in 1882. End your day with a trip to the magnificent Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland's most popular attractions.
