the car did not smell good, things were dirty but the driver was nice and he drove well. just not a great experience
Subpar
This is my second time taking a car service from LGA and I would not use this particular service again. I arranged my travel well in advance yet still I had to provide all of these extra details when I called to confirm my arrival even though I had already provide my flight information. I had a tight arrival window to my destination and when I was trying to get out of the car the driver asked for a tip and added a toll fee. Not only was this a surprise, it was making me late. I didn’t have time to argue or ask questions, especially because it was clear that his understanding or ability to communicate in English was not strong. I gave him my credit card to pay the fees then his swipe machine wasn’t working. After multiple attempts to connect his device it finally connected, I was able to pay and leave. Next time I’ll just take a regular cab as this was much less convenient than uber, can, or my previous car service experience.
Poor Communication
Poor communication. Even though my itinerary was in the notes, the tour group would not recognize it if it wasn't on the ticket. Viator should have fixed the ticket. The tour group refused to drive us but viator refunded us. We took a cab instead, which was cheaper.
Transfer significantly delayed
Unfortunately, there was no one waiting for us upon our arrival at the airport.... Car 2 hours late. With the help of the agency in Italy and a collaborator inside the airport, we finally managed to get picked up.
