A private air-conditioned minivan picks you up from your central Dubai hotel. From there, venture into the desert.
En route, learn about the desert ecosystem and the ongoing efforts to protect its flora and fauna. Then, arrive at a desert camp owned by Dubai’s royal family; it's located inside the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a national park.
Here, climb into a private vintage 1950s Land Rover with a trained desert driver and take a wildlife safari in the twilit dunes. Look for Arabian oryx, gazelles, hares, lizards, and other species, and use the headlight beams and night-vision binoculars to detect any movement.
Afterward, enjoy a 2-course dinner at the torchlit camp and an optional shisha (Arabic water pipe). Then, with an astronomer-guide, scan the starry skies to see and learn about constellations.
Your tour finishes with a hotel drop-off.
