After pickup from your downtown Beijing hotel, your guide will explain the history of the wall, as you travel through the countryside, including how this 1.5-mile (2.4-kilometer) section was first restored in 1986. On arrival, choose whether to ascend by cable car or chairlift. Your guide will accompany you, as you walk between ancient watchtowers and dramatic parapets. Choose to descend by cable car, chairlift, or the thrilling toboggan track. If you’ve upgraded, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. After this, you might choose to visit Mutianyu Village or pick fruit in its orchards before your driver drops you back to your hotel.
