Your tour begins with pickup from your Quito hotel. Traveling by private vehicle, set out on the journey to the Mindo Valley, the meeting point of the Chocoan lowlands and the tropical Andes. The first stop of the day is the El Quetzal Chocolate Factory, where you can watch the chocolate-making process during a guided factory tour, then sample Ecuadorian coffee and a delicious chocolate brownie. With your appetite sated, it’s time for the adventure portion of the day at Mindo Canopy Ziplines. After listening to the safety briefing and getting suited up with your harness and safety equipment, get your adrenaline pumping as you tackle the 10-line zipline course and zoom through the treetops. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, before continuing to the Mitad del Mundo—Ecuador’s famous Equator Line. Visit the Intiñan Museum, where you can walk along the "equator line," learn more about Ecuador’s indigenous tribes, and watch a demonstration of the Coriolis Effect. Return to Quito where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel. Please note: This is a private tour so departure times can be altered to suit your preferences.
