Meet Chiara at her home and then she will drive you to the local Testaccio market to shop for ingredients for your cooking class. Her car can seat a maximum of 4 people, so for larger groups you will walk to the market. It is 12-minute walk downhill to the market and a 14 minute walk uphill to Chiara's home. Your market experience will last for about one hour. After this, you will join Chiara in her kitchen and learn to make traditional Italian food in a hands-on cooking class followed by the meal that will last about 3 hours. You will be given printed recipes and Chiara will briefly introduce you to each dish before you start your cooking class. Learn how to make classic Italian dishes such as handmade pasta, tomato sauce, scaloppini (a meat dish), and tiramisu. After the class you will move to the dining room to feast on your delicious Italian meal!
