Alda is a psychology graduate who loves spending time in the kitchen with her family. She learned to cook from her father and grandmother who owned a bakery in Mexico City. Alda loves introducing her guests to Mexican cuisine. Her friend Ricardo is a history buff and will host with her when his schedule allows.
Alda lives in a modern house designed by her father in the contemporary Mexican style of the eighties. She and her parents share this beautiful home located amongst colorful colonial houses in the lively, tree-lined neighborhood of Coyoacan in the south of the city.
This is a great opportunity to learn about Mexico's culture and cuisine first-hand and you'll leave this experience with new recipes, an appreciation for Mexican culture, and a true glimpse into local life in Mexico City!
Please note: Locals in Mexico City eat a late lunch around 3pm. If you'd like to eat lunch earlier, Alda can accommodate your timing.
