Located south of the city, Old Cairo is the oldest district of Cairo. The old town is relatively small, compared to the city as a whole, but it is a district steeped in history. We will visit the Egyptian Museum which is one of the largest museums entirely devoted to Egyptian Antiquity. We will then go to discover 2 amazing churches and after that we will visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Cairo which is the oldest in Egypt. It is unique in its blend of Christian architecture, Islamic arabesques, and Jewish ornaments.
