Private hiking tour in the vicinity of Belgrade

Your guide will pick you up in the morning from your hotel or other place of stay in Belgrade and after an hour drive we'll reach Kosmaj mountain. Kosmaj is located in Sumadija area which is well known for its hills and mountains, with thick forests and breathtaking views. Before our hike there is an option to visit medieval monastery Tresije dating from XIV century.

Kosmaj hike is not demanding and it's a perfect getaway from urban city to spend fulfilled day in nature.

First portion of the trail goes through thick forest and this part is most steep on the whole route, but still quite easy. At the end of this section we reach monumental memorial to partizans who died in the WWII. After a short break we continue further to the one of the highest points of Kosmaj mountain, where an observation deck is conveniently set and you can enjoy spectacular views. The trail goes through the local village, and you’ll see how authentic Šumadija village looks like. It’ll take an hour to reach our lunch destination, a local kafana (tavern).If you are a craft beer fan we have perfect treat for you.In the vicinity there is one of the first Serbian craft breweries where we can have beer tasting.

A fulfilled day in the nature combined with hiking, cultural and gourmet experience. Only an hour drive from the city of Belgrade you'll discover local way of life in rural areas of Serbia, but you'll also see landscapes from, not so high, but beautiful mountain Kosmaj which hides many historical and religious places waiting for travelers to be discovered. If you are a craft beer fan you'll enjoy visit to prominent Serbian craft brewery which is an option in the itinerary.
