All tourist attractions on lake Maggiore, including the Borromean islands, reopened to the public last May. Most of the hotels, bars and restaurants are open and foreigner travellers from EU are able to enter Italy for holiday! From July it will also be possible to enter Italy for vacation from many more countries around the world.
