We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The tour was very well organized, the places were spectacular, and we really had an excellent time. A special thanks to our guide, Nico, who was super kind, attentive, and always had a great attitude. In addition to being very nice, he made the whole group feel comfortable and welcome. During the day, he had to adapt to several schedule changes and even to an unexpected client, and he handled everything with a lot of patience and professionalism. He adjusted the itinerary in the best way and made everything turn out perfectly, as if it had always been planned. Nico was our guide — knowledgeable, easy to talk to, entertaining, and funny. He showed us many incredible sites along the Great Ocean Road, including a stop at Bells Beach to watch surfers. I grew up on a surfboard in Southern California, so seeing Australian surfing and the large waves was very exciting for me! He took us through beautiful landscapes of rolling hills, a lighthouse stop with coffee and a snack, kangaroos on a golf course, and koala bears in a eucalyptus tree. Every stop was memorable. We had lunch at The Perch Restaurant, where I tried kangaroo for the first time — and found it to be absolutely delicious and healthy! From the deck at The Perch, I was able to photograph red and green parrots and red parakeets. A truly stunning experience. Our final stop was the 12 Apostles a collection of limestone rock formation off the coast of Great Ocean Road. Fun thing there were never 12 formation originally 9 and 7 now remain. This tour was one of our all-time favorite tours. We highly recommend Nico if you are coming to do a tour of the Great Ocean Road. Nico is your man — you don't need to look any further.

Our private tour of the Great Ocean Road with Nico was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. The Great Ocean Road is truly one of the world’s most scenic drives, built by returning World War I soldiers—a remarkable story that makes the journey even more meaningful. Along the way, we stopped at the legendary Bells Beach surf break, visited a picturesque lighthouse, spotted kangaroos, and saw wild koalas in their natural habitat. Lunch at The Perch was outstanding. The food was excellent, the deck offered beautiful views, and wild red and green parrots and parakeets flew freely around us while we ate. It was a photographer’s dream! I even tried kangaroo for the first time—it was delicious and surprisingly healthy. The grand finale was the breathtaking Twelve Apostles. These magnificent sandstone formations have been sculpted by the Southern Ocean over thousands of years. Although there were originally nine (despite the name suggesting twelve), only seven remain today, making them an unforgettable sight. Nico was an exceptional guide—friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a lot of fun. He shared fascinating history and local insights throughout the day and made the experience truly memorable. If you’re planning a trip along the Great Ocean Road, I highly recommend requesting Nico. You won’t be disappointed!
