Private Full-Day Tour: Portillo Ski Center and Inca Lagoon from Santiago

Summary

After pickup in the morning from select areas of Santiago (districts of Providencia, Vitacura, Las Condes, and Santiago Centro, or at a meeting point in the same districts), your day trip starts with private transportation north of the city toward Ski Portillo, following Los Conquistadors Highway. Take a break at a large monument with historical significance, and then continue the drive through the Chacabuco tunnel and into Aconcagua Valley. From the window, admire a view of Mt. Aconcagua, the highest point in both the southern and western hemispheres. When you arrive at Ski Portillo, catch a glimpse of the ski resort's mascot, a St. Bernard who welcomes you to start your visit. At this point, your free time begins to spend however you wish. Go enjoy a view of Portillo Inca Lagoon, or hop on the ski lift to catch a few runs or enjoy lunch (any activities and food are at your own expense).  In the late afternoon, you'll start the drive back to Santiago for drop-off at your hotel or central location.
