Your private, 1.5-hour food tour in Arga starts with a hotel pickup. Your pickup time depends on the time you chose for your tour. This tour is offered any time on the hour from 2p.m. to 9p.m. Your first stop is at Ram Babu Paratha Bhandar, a restaurant that’s been open since 1930. Here you can try paratha (a flat, round snack made of wheat flour and filled with either vegetables, cottage cheese, or spices). Afterward, continue on to Mama Chicken Mama Franky House. This quick-stop food eatery is well known for its wide variety of meat and veggie dishes, including kebobs. Taste a sample before heading to Agra Chat House. At Agra Chat House, you can sample panipuri (a common street snack in India), pav bhaji (a dish consisting of a thick vegetable curry fried), and aloo tikki (a snack made of boiled potatoes, onions, and various curry spices). The last place your group visits on this tour is the 70-year-old sweet shop, Deviram Sweet Shop and Restaurant. This shop has more than 60 different Indian sweet and desserts.
