Your personal ride guide will meet you at your hotel or local accommodations and guide you on a customized road ride out onto some long distance trails and quiet back roads to roll through parks, historic sites, wooded valleys and horse pastures that surround and interlace DC.
Your guide will provide healthy snacks and a new premium water bottle - yours to keep. You are strongly encouraged to bring your own biking shoes and pedals. You may discuss road bike rental options with the guide once the ride has been confirmed.
With multiple ride options, there's something to please riders of all skill levels. Opt for a 2-hour quickie for a fast-paced 20-30 mile ride with a route customized to get as many or as few hills as you'd like. For a more challenging day, choose instead the 3-4 hour endurance ride, a 30-60 mile route as tough as you'd like with coffee and food stops. Riders desiring an even longer, more difficult challenge can elect a 5-6 hour journey of 50+ miles, exploring the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region in one long ride.
