After pickup from your Dubai hotel, settle inside your climate-controlled vehicle with your guide. Then, explore the city’s modern and traditional sides as you hear about its history, architecture, and culture.
Learn how Dubai began as a humble fishing port before dramatically expanding during the mid-20th century oil boom. Gaze at Dubai Creek, the natural waterway at the heart of old Dubai, and take in other attractions including Dubai Museum, housed in 18th-century Al Fahidi fort.
Next, venture into newer Dubai, where the city’s 21st-century skyscrapers, malls, and plusher-than-plush hotels dominate. See Sheikh Zayed Road, and take photos of Jumeirah Beach and the sail-shaped, offshore Burj Al Arab.
Then, head for Palm Jumeirah island to view the gargantuan Atlantis, The Palm hotel, before seeing the Mall of the Emirates and continuing to Dubai Mall, home to the Burj Khalifa.
On arrival, leave your vehicle and use your ticket to ascend to the Burj Khalifa’s 124th-floor observation deck. Behold the 360-degree city views, and enjoy time to admire the different panoramas through the full-height windows and telescopes.
