Private Day Trip to Cairo from Sharm el Sheikh

Shocking, constant changes to plane times, in the end they wanted us to be picked up at 2.45am for a 4am flight, not returning until an 11pm flight back. Trip cancelled, holiday spoilt, 2 days wasted without being able to book other things. Viator no help at all, they washed their hands off it. I am still waiting to speak to a manager about this yet they have not called. Totally mis-sold a trip. if i wanted a 24 hour trip i would have booked the coach, however opted for the plane instead as this was supposed to be a 12 hour turn around. After speaking to other tour guides out in Egypt this is totally commonplace. The operators do this all the time to enhance profits, they move you onto cheaper flights and change the itinary to suit themselves. There is no way Viator do not know this is going on. We booked this trip before leaving the UK from what i thought was a reputable company. I expected our plane tickets to be bought as soon a we booked through this company......... this was not the case. I spent the entire day before the trip chasing the tour operator for information, they promised us seats on a different flight at 12pm, then cancelled that at 7pm. i spoke to 2 different people at Viator during this time, one was useless, not listening to thing i had to say. the 2nd was slightly better but despite promises of this being raised to management level, this also never happened. i sent all communication between myself and Best tours to Viator via email so they could see how much we were being messed about! this made no difference. The facts are this, Viator and 'Best Tours' Spoiled 2 days of a 6 day holiday, they failed to deliver what was paid for and promised, then tried to blame the airline instead of taking responsibility themselves. The main reason for this holiday was to go to the Pyramids.......... thanks to viator and a tour operator called 'best tours' this never happened. Thank you Viator.....

Ahmed Rabea is super knowledgeable all things Cairo and Giza. He is patient and flexible with a large group and will customize experience throughout the day. He maximizes the amount you can do in one day in a way you wouldn’t be able to do alone. He is passionate about the history which is contagious. He clearly hosts groups often as he is very familiar with the driver and all staff at the experiences which also enhances the experience.
