Feel free to ask her about any ingredient and learn about the recipes that bring those ingredients to life! Midori offers Halal, Kosher and Vegan Meals as well, so please inform her your preference while creating the booking. She also offers three set menus, so don't forget to mention your preference when making your online booking. This experience is also great for families with children!

Why take this tour?

Join your host Midori in her home and watch as she cooks a traditional Japanese meal. You can choose from one of three set menus that she offers - Teriyaki Chicken (teriyaki chicken, 2 seasonal vegetables, miso soup, rice), Maki Sushi (maki sushi, tamago yaki, 1 seasonal vegetable, miso soup) or Kansai Street Snacks (okonomiyaki, takoyaki, yaki gyoza, miso soup). Midori likes to create dishes from simple and easy recipes that you can easily recreate back home. This will be a cooking demonstration where you will watch Midori cook using seasonal and traditional ingredients. The cooking portion of the experience will last one hour, after which you will sit down and share a meal together. After the meal, if you're interested, Midori can even take you to the local supermarket to buy a few local Japanese ingredients to take back home.
