Begin your Beijing adventure with pickup at the airport according to your flight schedule. In the arrival hall, look for a private guide bearing a sign with your name on it, then transfer to a waiting vehicle with your luggage, which will be kept safe during your tour.
Set out for the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Relax in your comfortable private vehicle and listen as your guide fills you in on the history of this site. Once you arrive, take the shuttle to the base of the mountain, then a cable car or ski lift to the wall itself. Spend the next several hours hiking and exploring on foot before taking the cable car or riding the toboggan back down.
Return to Beijing to explore the city landmarks, including the Olympic stadium area, the Hutong alleys, and the Drum tower area. In Tian'anmen Square, visit the Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes and the National Museum of China, then pass through the gates to the Forbidden City. Once the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties, it is now home to the Palace Museum.
Return to the Beijing airport for drop-off in time to catch your flight.
