Our guide was a little scattered and said the same things over snd over, got caught up on details unrelated go our tour, asked same questions multiple times. I would suggest doing this on your own. Take Funicular, then cable car up. Once there, it’s full of great information.
Best spots on a tight schedule
Pepa is friendly and approachable. In addition, to being quite knowledgeable. If you have only few hours in Barcelona then go ahead and book with Pepa. I would highly recommend her tour.

If you're visiting Barcelona, do not skip the Montjuïc cable car and private castle tour; and if you're lucky enough to get Pepa as your guide, consider it the highlight of your trip. From the moment we met, she made the experience feel personal rather than like a standard tour stop. Pepa's knowledge of Barcelona's history was incredible — she wove together stories about the castle, the city, and Montjuïc itself in a way that made everything come alive, not just a list of dates and facts. The cable car ride up offered some of the most stunning views of the city and coastline, and she made sure we stopped at all the right spots to take it in. She also has a great eye for photography — she took some of the best pictures I have from the entire trip, capturing both the views and candid moments without it ever feeling forced or rushed. Beyond the tour itself, Pepa was genuinely generous with her local knowledge. She gave me spot-on recommendations for what else to see in Barcelona and where to eat, all suggestions that felt like they came from a true local who loves her city, not just a script. On top of all of that, she was just a warm, wonderful person to spend the afternoon with. It's rare to find a guide who combines deep expertise with that kind of genuine hospitality.
